⏳Staking
To play the first season of the game, you will have to stake a Home X NFT („The First Travelers” collection) on our platform and earn ENERGY tokens, the main resource used in completing the weekly quests.
ENERGY
ENERGY is an utility ESDT fungible token used in playing Home X.
ENERGY tokens are minted only through NFT staking or by the game contract - by completing in-game quests and earning rewards.
The rate at which Energy is produced depends on the player's Tier and how many NFTs you own. The more NFTs you stake, the more ENERGY you gain (1 NFT – 3 ENERGY per hour)
Tier 1 – Nomads: 1 to 3 NFTs = 3 - 9 ENERGY per hour
Tier 2 – Tourists: 4 to 6 NFTs = 12 – 18 ENERGY per hour
Tier 3 – Purists: 7+ NFTs = min. 21 ENERGY per hour
However, over time, more factors will be taken into consideration regarding the Energy production, such as: NFTs rarity, classes, game XP and more...(which will be announced in our community servers and on our socials)
Whenever a quest that demands Energy is accomplished, a corresponding amount of tokens is burned. By completing quests, you are essentially engaging in a deflationary process.
e.g. Scout the city: You have been drawn to explore the city, hoping to uncover its secrets. The journey requires 10 ENERGY to keep you focused on your path.
Once a week, you can also swap your ENERGY tokens for EGLD.
During the first season of the game, the token can only be exchanged inside the game.
So, you can still earn rewards by staking, being an incentive offered to the NFTs’ holders to assure their loyalty and the future development of the ecosystem.
TAKE NOTE: staking rewards will have a dynamic rate – the weekly reserved amount will be split between all staked NFTs. The weekly staking rewards pool will fluctuate based on the secondary market’s volume.
The mechanisms of these rewards are implemented for assuring a wider adoption and an active participation of the NFTs’ holders/users in the ecosystem, including the Game. Thus, the rewards are assuring the future development of the entire ecosystem.
